Pray Hunter is an initiative to increase prayer of believers from around our region for our region. We aim to establish a perimeter of prayer for the region that sees it saturated every day of the year with a common and consistent voice to the Lord. It is based on Nehemiah’s strategy of rebuilding the walls, where Christian Churches, organisations and businesses to take their place in a wall of prayer to enable a rising tide of prayer for our region.

We pray:
- For the Oneness of the Body of Christ to emerge to fulfillment that we be an answer to the last prayer of Jesus.
“I pray for them all to be joined together as one even as you and I, Father, are joined together as one. I pray for them to become one with us so that the world will recognize that you sent me.” John 17:21
- For the witness of Christ to increase. The Good News of Jesus to be confidently and beautifully made clear that captures the heart of every listener.
“Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” Nehemiah 4:14 (NLT)
- For a spiritual awakening across our region. People coming alive in Christ Jesus!

HOW CAN I BE INVOLVED AS AN INDIVIDUAL?
Check with your local church, Christian business or organisation to see if they are already participating in PRAY HUNTER. If they are already registered there will be a point leader at your church who will be able to tell you more about how you can be involved. If they’re not involved in PRAY HUNTER then register and we will provide you with an information pack that can assist you to approach your church, Christian business or organisation about being involved. If your do not belong to a local church, Christian business or organisation choose a date and time that works for you and join with the Body of Christ praying that day.
CAN CHRISTIAN BUSINESSES AND ORGANISATIONS THAT ARE NOT CHURCHES PARTICIPATE?
Yes, Christian organisations / businesses are encouraged to participate. Any Christian group that can be mobilised once a month to pray is welcome. Register your group and we will get in touch with you.
WHEN AND HOW DO WE PARTICIPATE?
Identify one day in the month as your day to call your people to prayer, 12 times throughout a year. Be sure to know either side of this day others will be joining in with you.
How you do this is up to you!
You don’t need to have an additional gathered prayer meeting, but you could include PRAY HUNTER into an existing one. You could ask your people to pray at a certain time on your chosen day wherever they are. You could link it up online with those who can make it. We aren’t asking for lengthy prayer meetings.
We are calling believers to pray; this could be as simple as setting aside a few minutes. You choose how and where you do it and let us know. Your ideas could help others choose how they will do it.
ANOTHER GROUP IS PRAYING ON THE SAME DAY?
Choose a day that works for your group. It does not matter if another group is also praying as we want as many churches and Christian organisations mobilized as possible.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE POINT PERSON?
The point person is vital to ensuring good communication and that as many people in their organisation are mobilized as possible. They will receive a monthly email and also be connected to others through a private FB page. PRAY HUNTER Resources are available to assist the point person communicate with their people. The point person will elevate their groups prayers through the groups social media platforms using the hashtag #prayhunter
HOW DO I GET PRAY HUNTER RESOURCES SUCH AS THE BOOKMARK OR STICKERS?
